SCOUTS' AWARDS

   Mr. C.C.Quah, Deputy Colony Scout Commissioner, has been awarded the Silver Acorn by the Chief Scout, Lord Rowallon, in recognition of his valuable and distinguished services to the Scout Movement.

   The following have been awarded the Medal of Merit for their good services to the Scout Movement: Mr. Wong Yat-hung (District Commissioner, Hong Kong); Mr. Loo Mang-hoon (District Commissioner, Headquarters); Mr. S.L. de Faria (District Commissioner, Kowloon); Mr. Stephen Wong (District Scoutmaster, Hong Kong); Mr. Lai Kim-hung (District Scoutmaster, Kowloon); Mr. Shin Ka-wing (District Scoutmaster, Sea Scouts).

   The Medals will be presented to the recipients by the Governor at the Scouts' St. George's Day Parade at the New Botanical Gardens on Saturday, April 22.
