SCOUTS MAKING SAMPAN TRIP FROM CANTON

Canton, Yesterday.

   In an endeavour to emulate the feat of the two foreigners who made a canoe trip from Hong Kong to Macao and back earlier this year, three Chinese Boy Scouts set out from Canton yesterday morning in a native sampan bound for Hong Kong.
   All three boys are members of the 101st Troop of Chinese Scouts in Canton and their leader is youthful Kwok Shiu-shue.
   If all goes well, the three boys expect to bring their craft into the harbour at Hong Kong before Tuesday this week.- Our Own Correspondent.
